Trend Guide

How to make a Hotel Lobby AI video, or film the trend on your phone.

Two people, warm orange light, a short clip. Film it yourself, or make the AI version from two photos. Hotel-Lobby.net is not connected to the original artists.

What the hotel lobby trend looks like

  • Two performers side by side, each with a mic or a prop that looks like one.
  • A warm background: an orange wall, a hotel lobby, or anything lit in amber tones.
  • Vertical 9:16 framing at chest height, so both faces fill the screen.
  • 10 to 15 seconds of trading lines, ending on a shared line, a laugh, or a pose.

The format borrows the look of a well-known duo performance. Hotel-Lobby.net is not connected to the artists. The AI version follows one fixed performance reference and does not clone a real person's voice.

Option 1: film it on your phone

  1. Find the set. A hotel lobby, a café with warm light, or a plain wall lit by a lamp with an orange bulb.
  2. Frame it. Phone on a stand at chest height, vertical, both of you in frame from the waist up. Lock focus and exposure on your faces.
  3. Write four lines. Two each: names, one detail, one punchline. Short lines are easier to deliver on beat.
  4. Record several takes. Energy matters more than polish. Look at the lens, not the screen.
  5. Edit and post. Trim to 10–15 seconds, add your own audio or a track from the app's licensed library, and add captions.

Option 2: make the AI version from two photos

Useful when you are in different cities, cannot film in a lobby, or want it for a surprise.

  1. Sign in, then add a clear photo of each person on the hotel lobby video tool.
  2. Leave the stage on Hotel Lobby, the default.
  3. Pick the occasion and type names plus one detail.
  4. Start the render. The default video uses 10 credits, and your first preview is free. The clip appears on your account page when it is done.

Tips that work for both

  • Light the faces from the front. Backlight turns faces into silhouettes.
  • Keep it short. The best clips land the punchline before the 15-second mark.
  • Make it personal: one real name and one real detail beat a generic verse.
  • Mark AI clips as AI-generated when you post, as TikTok and Instagram ask.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Using someone's photo without asking them. Both people should agree to the video.
  • Photos of minors or public figures. They are not allowed on Hotel-Lobby.net.
  • Posting a copyrighted song outside the platform's licensed library.
